Ron was a 1974 graduate of Lincoln East High School. He was employed by Nebraska Boiler Company for 25 years and most recently at Highlands Golf Course in maintenance.
Ron is survived by his wife, Carrie (Wescott); daughter Michelle (Evan) Vaughan; son Benjamin (Chelsea) Bouwens; four grandchildren Clare and Maren Vaughan, Lexi and Levi Bouwens; sister Susan (Richard) Rockenbach; brothers Donald (Sandy) Bouwens and David (Donna) Bouwens; uncle Clarence (Janet) Bouwens; aunt Cathy Oenbring; brother-in-law Steve Ward; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of wonderful friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, in-laws John and Joyce Wescott, and sister-in-law Nancy Ward.
Funeral Service: 10:30 am Friday (10-14-22) Raymond United Methodist Church, 14750 N. 3rd Street. Burial in Oak Creek Cemetery, Raymond.
Visitation with family present from 6-7:30 pm Thursday at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
