Member of Southwood Lutheran Church, Lancaster Lodge #54, A.F. & A.M., Sesotris Shrine and Shrine Band, Cornhusker Kiwanis and NE Lutheran Via de Cristo. Participated in many volunteer services for the church and community.
Family members include his wife, Linda; son, Brian (Amanda) Walker, Lincoln; step-children, John (Nicole) Meyer, Gretna, NE; Susan (Milos) Delja, Copenhagen, Denmark; grandchildren, Aubry and Nathanial Walker, Jack and Katie Meyer, Mia, Zoe, and Mihailo Delja; sisters, Gloria (Byford) Schmit, Steinauer, NE and Nancy (Dan) Spearow, Stromsburg, NE; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Daryl Walker.
Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday (9-21-15) Southwood Lutheran Church,4301 Wilderness Hills Blvd. with Pastor Beth Ann Stone and Pastor Michael Ryan officiating. Burial in Yankee Hill Cemetery.
