Ronald E. Shuman, 95, Lincoln, died Saturday (6-26-10) two days before he turned 96. Born (6-28-14) in Cowles, Nebraska to Frank and Josie (Rowland) Shuman. Ronald graduated from Bethany High School and Nebraska Wesleyan University where he lettered in basketball, football and track. He married Sally Hile on August 17, 1940. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of Bethany Christian Church.
Ronald is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Ron Shuman and Loretta Sequeira, Santa Cruz, CA; his daughter and son-in-law, Karen (Shuman) and Scott Pfuetze, Doniphan, NE; grandchildren. Amy Pfuetze and Ryan Pfuetze; great grandchildren, Marissa and Maria; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally; parents; brothers Leo, Clayton, Clair and Rodney; sisters Mildred Robertson and Pearl Morgan.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday (7-1-10) Bethany Christian Church, 1645 North Cotner. Rev. Daryl Lauber officiating.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 pm. Wednesday with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
