Ronald E. Ross, 61, Lincoln, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 17, 2010. Born December 16, 1948 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Julius and Bernice (Linduski) Ross, Jr.
Survived by loving wife Mary; daughters Charity, Amanda Ross-Hoffer, Annie, Michelle and Melissa; sons David, Denny and Kevin; 16 grandchildren; one great grandchild; mother Bernice; and sisters Karen Gagner and Kathy Johnson. He is preceded in death by father Julius and brother Bob Ross.
Graduated from the University of Nebraska. Licensed Civil Engineer. Founder and President of Ross Engineering, Inc. Played an instrumental role in the growth and development of the City of Lincoln.
Ron touched the lives of many. Ron had a loving heart, a joyful spirit and an enduring faith in the Lord that served as an inspiration to everyone in his life. Ron will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Celebration of Life service on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the Messiah Lutheran Church,1800 South 84th Street. Interment in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Visitation: Thursday 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with family greeting from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street and one hour prior to the service time at the church.
