Rodney Kent Magnuson Sr., 68, died June 22, 2017 in Lincoln. Born on April 6, 1949, in Osmond, NE and graduate of Lincoln High School, he was a proud husband, father, and grandfather, a Vietnam Army veteran, Bronze Star recipient, youth coach, and owner of Magnuson Painting and Wall Covering for 40 years.
Preceded in death by parents Kelly and Gladys Magnuson and brother Charles of Lincoln. He is survived by wife Bobbie; brothers Landis (Kathy) and Brad; children Rodney Jr. (Susan) of Santa Clara, CA, Jamie (Lindsay) of Platte City, MO, Kellie (Katie Batza) of Lawrence, KS, and Kylie DeBord (Nick) of Grand Island; and grandchildren Kaitlynn, Alexandria, Parker, Tristan, Cory, Isabelle, Evan, Elliot, and Leona.
Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday (6-26-17) Trinity United Methodist Church, 7130 Kentwell Lane.
