Robert George “Bob” Prey, 79, of Lincoln, passed away September 12, 2017. Born January 4, 1938 in Lincoln, Nebraska to George A. and Alcidean L. (Chadd) Prey. Married to Peggy Wagner on September 11, 1965 in Lincoln, NE. U. S. Navy Veteran, served on the USS Stribling DD 867. Retired after 40 years with Burlington Northern Railroad where he was a machinist in the Wheel Shop in Havelock. He enjoyed working on cars, yardwork, fishing, hunting and canoeing.
Family members include his wife, Peggy; daughter, Jodi (Steve) Keedy, Valrico, FL; grandchildren, Logan, Courtney, Megan and Paige Keedy, Hailee Sommer, Maxwell, NE and Luke Sommer, North Platte, NE. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Christine Sommer; brother, Gary Prey.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
