Robert E. “Papa Bob” Schomaker, 62, of Lincoln, died Sunday, September 9, 2012. Born June 10, 1950 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Robert L. and Winona (Severe) Schomaker. U. S. Army Veteran. Owner , Modern Eye Care. Band manager and founder of Curbstone and Midnight Society. Member of Bass Fishing Federation. Enjoyed fishing, bicycling, and bee keeping. Loved hanging out with family and friends. Love for his family will be forever cherished.
Family members include his wife Angie; son: Scott (Tammy) Schomaker, Palmyra; daughters: Laura (Jason) Coyle, Lincoln, Missy Schomaker, Charlotte, NC, Mandy (Brandt) Bacus, Gilbert, AZ; grandchildren: Austin, Treven, Kelsey, Tristen and Makenna; mother: Winona Kuster, Lincoln; sisters: Sharon (Steve) Olsen, San Diego, CA, Jolene Deats, Lincoln; brother: Bruce (Patty) Schomaker, Lincoln; sister-in-law: Alicia Henk, Kansas City, MO; father-in-law: Allen (Lille) Henk, Beatrice, NE; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Robert L. Schomaker.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Pastor Kerry O’Bryant officiating.
