Renee was a blessed mother to three wonderful children and was lucky enough to be a grandmother to three lovely boys as well. Renee loved cooking and gathering with loved ones over board and card games. She had a soft spot for any and all animals. Renee was a selfless person through and through. She cared for others and anyone who knew her was fortunate to have her there. Renee was always kind, caring, energetic and a bubbly person.
She is survived by her siblings, Cynthia Callaway Duhrkopf, of Lincoln, NE and Keith Callaway, of TX; children, Heather Sirr Newman, of Columbus, NE, Joseph Schlenz, of Stanton, NE and Brandon, of Lincoln, NE; grandsons, Robert Jr., Carter and Aiden Newman, all of Platte Center, NE; niece, Savannah Duhrkopf, of Lincoln, NE; nephews, Tommy Hill, of OR, Patrick Callaway, of Lincoln, NE and Noah Callaway, of OK; father, Clifford Callaway; and step mother, Pat Callaway, both of Seguin, TX.
Renee is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Greer, niece, Julia Kuil, brother-in-law, Karl Duhrkopf, her aunt, Gayle Goulb, and a long line of grandparents.
