Reinhold G. “Reinie” Heinbigner, 86, Lincoln, died Wednesday (11-10-10). Born (1-15-24) in Norfolk, Nebraska to Jacob and Anna M. (Herman) Heinbigner. Ret. 1983, Gamble & Robinson Co. 41 years. WWII U.S. Army Veteran. Member: Heritage Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post 3, Eagles Lodge 147, Cornhusker Model A Ford Club, Early Ford V-8 Club, Eastern Nebraska Western Iowa Car Council (E.N.W.I.), Nebraska Corvette Association. Loved to fish and work on his cars.
Family members include daughter, son-in-law: Dianne and Terry Elliott, Kearney; grandchildren: Jennifer Elliott, Lincoln, Richard and wife Karla Elliott, Heather and husband Jeff Neumann, all of Wichita, KS; great granddaughters: Elli and Kail Neumann; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife Betty; son Howard; parents; brothers Jake, Herbert and Sam Heinbigner; sisters Esther Heinbigner and Lydia Morton.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday (11-15-10) Heritage Presbyterian Church, 880 South 35th Street 68510. Rev. Dr. Raymond Meester officiating. Burial in Wyuka Cemetery. Military graveside honors by Nebraska Army National Guard Honors Team and American Legion Post 3.
