Randall Lewis Acher

Randall Lewis Acher, 73, of Lincoln, passed away October 6, 2016. Born July 12, 1943 in Hattiesburg, MS to Chet and June (Yost) Acher. Randy lived part of his childhood in Germany and in Harvard and Lincoln, NE. He owned sporting goods retail store, Acher Arms since 1969 and was a real estate developer. His passions were hunting and collecting historical memorabilia. Randy served in the U. S. Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. He was a lifetime member of the NRA , member of American Legion Post #3 in Lincoln and two posts in Arizona, and was a founding member of Winchester Arms Collection Association.

Survived by his wife, Carolyn; son, Raider Rhotenacher; daughter, Kristi Divine; step-children, Michael Callaway, Lorie Callaway (Dudley Beyer); 2 grandchildren, Jacob and Jeana; 6 step-grandchildren, and many step-great grandchildren; and longtime friend, Vicki Longsine. Preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday (10-12-16) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street with Pastor Ray Norris officiating. Prior private interment.

Memorials to the family for future designation.

No visitation/cremation.
