I met Ralph while working on the railroad. He was a machinist and I was an electrician. We got along very well. I always admired his work ethic. Ralph worked in the truck shop tearing down and building traction motors. This had to be one of the toughest and physically demanding jobs on the railroad. He did it day in and day out. I never heard him complain. I miss those days working on the railroad and eating lunch with Ralph.
