Quang Thi Le (Annie Tran), 82, of Lincoln, passed on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

She married Peter Nhu Tran in Vietnam and has been in the United States since November 1975.

Survivors: sons, Stevin-Chuc (Kim-Tan), Tom-Chieu, Alex-Chuyen (Snow-Tuyet), Tony-Anh (Asako), Nick-Phong; daughters, Jenny-Hong (Phi) and Loan (Kevin) Duryea; 23 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation: 9am – 5pm Thursday, September 29 and 9am – 8pm Friday, September 30, at Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 O St, Lincoln.

Rosary (2 locations): 6:30 pm Friday, September 30, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 6345 Madison Ave, Lincoln; or 7pm Friday, September 30, at Roper and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass: 10 am Saturday, October 1, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church.

The Rite of Committal will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 3880 L St, Lincoln.

Annie and Peter were wonderful neighbors for many years, although we didn’t really speak the same language, we were always able to communicate with a smile and a wave. Annie would bring over the most delicious egg rolls on holidays – I never liked egg rolls until I tasted Annie’s. We are so sorry for your loss, but Annie was the most special neighbor. If you’ve never heard the story of how they came over from Vietnam, you have missed quite the legend – such bravery. Rest in peace, Annie – we loved you. (we used to live at 3301 across the street)
