Philip attended Kearney High School and graduated from SCC in 2015. He was employed by the City of Lincoln, primarily in wastewater management, for more than 45 years. Philip enjoyed traveling, fishing, and gardening. Philip and Karen have enjoyed countless adventures together in more than 40 states and outside of the US. These adventures have including cruises, amusement parks, national parks, beaches, and lots of amazing food and scenery. They loved to travel in their RV, especially when heading south for the winter! When they were home, he prided himself on having one of the nicest lawns in the neighborhood! When he wasn’t traveling, Philip loved spending time with his family. He was always there to help anyone out when needed. Aside from his wife, his sons were his best friends, and his daughter will always be his little girl. He loved having his grandkids around and teaching them new things, especially roller skating and fishing, even though he occasionally “forgot” his hearing aids when they were all around!
