Obituary

Peggy Bullers

May 29, 1960 - November 15, 2025

Peggy Sue Bullers, 65, of York, NE passed away peacefully Nov 15th, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family.

Peg was born on May 29th, 1960 in Grand Island, NE to parents Betty Wetzel and Clayton Millspaugh. She grew up in Kellogg Iowa where her family ran a saw-mil and developed lake Pla-mor. She graduated from Lynvil Sully in 1978. She adored her graduation present, which was a 1978 Camaro.

Peggy married Michael Bullers Oct 31st, 1980. She dedicated her life to her family and later her love of farming and driving heavy equipment. She was stubborn and loved doing jobs you wouldn’t normally see a woman do. She loved gardening and working outside in the yard. She loved to spend the day at the lake with her family fishing and loved the thrill of riding jet ski’s! She loved being a Grandma and attending as many of their activities she could. Her Grandkids were her pride and joy!

She will be remembered for her generous heart, her fierce love for her family and her stubborn, hardworking, and determined attitude. She was full of life and never backed down from a challenge. She put her all in everything she did no matter what. She fought and beat cancer twice and overcame all the challenges that came after. She found comfort in her ability to keep it light and find humor in every challenge. We would either cry or laugh about the things we can not change.

Loved ones left to honor her legacy are her husband Michael Bullers, sons Josh Bullers, Justin Bullers, bonus son Charlie Martin. Daughter Alisha Hawkins and son in law Ryan Hawkins. Grandchildren Kloye, Graison, Kayla, Sophia, Josie, Liyza, Mason, Nova and Rowen. Brother Keith (Missy) Millspaugh. Nieces, Nephews, in laws and other family and friends.

Proceeded in death by her parents, Grandparents, life long family friend Scott Roberts and many other family and friends.

Celebration of life will be at a later date.

She taught me alot of easy ways to get shit done, she scolded me alot when I gave up hope and or was being lazy, she made me laugh alot with all the crazy things she did and said to me and others. She told me ignore the noise get up and do one project a day. She told me not to forget who they all was and where I came from. She told me to respect death and grieve for awhile but then soon to carry on. If not death will chase you as well. Her and her folks were some of my best mentors getting back home with her or talking to her was like never missing a day of it. Condolences to Mike, Keith, Melissa and all the kids in her life God Speed Peg rearrange things in the great beyond and get it ready for us, not now but soon enough Mike give us a call if you ever need a hippie desert break in the winters I know you’ll be busy with grand kids and gardens watching birds of the wetlands and sunsets as your bride will be present in spirit Love you all! Peggy Sue was my life long sister we were neighbors and shared our birthday. I was so happy to reconnect with her through facebook and enjoyed sharing stories and watching her family grow. She was the best friend a girl could ask for and the most hardworking woman just as her parents before her giving her all til her last breath. I will miss her! Prayers will be sent up for family and friends daily in their hour of need. God bless Mike for loving her and her kids for being her pride and joy.

Peggy was such an amazingly strong woman, she could out work me any day!! In the yard at her home in York we worked side by side cutting trees and hauling them to the burn pile and she never waiverd, she was strong, beautiful, strict and funny. I love you Peggy and I’ll miss you always.
