Paul E. Hansen, 91, of Bennet, passed away March 16, 2017 in Lincoln. Born Nov. 30, 1925 in Nebraska City to Hans & Minnie (Olsen) Hansen. Construction Superintendent for Kingery Construction for 41 years. WWII Navy Veteran; Danish Brotherhood of America; American Legion Post #280 Bennet, NE; Cornhusker Early Ford V-8 Club; National Woodie Club.
Family members include his wife of 68 years, Arla Mae; children & spouses, Randy (Kathy) Hansen, Lenexa, KS, Vicki (Scott) Hatfield, Bennet, Greg (Sharyn) Hansen, Lincoln, Polly (Uly) Millan, West Simsbury, CT; grandchildren & spouses, Libby (Shane) Rosengren, Lexie (Porter) Hampton, Jordan Hatfield, Halley Hansen, Tyler (Melissa) Hansen, Tsuru (Fernando) Vitale, Bianca (Chris) Del Gatto; great grandchildren, Dane, Arel, Liam, Heidi Rosengren, Ember, Rehn, Reece, Midian Hampton, Korrigan O’Neal, Dominick Lange, Abigail, Alyse, Mallory Hansen, Agustina, Tomas, Tobias Millan-Vitale, Harvey Del Gatto, Hazel Del Gatto (anticipated arrival in June); brother, Herbert Hansen, Omaha; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, brother, three sisters and one granddaughter, Steffie Hatfield.
Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday (4-1-17) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street, with Pastor Dan Dallmann officiating. Private burial of ashes at the Bennet Cemetery. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Reception to follow.
Memorials may be given to the family for the Hampton Missionary Fund or the Peoples City Mission.
