She worked as an office manager for Touche Ross Accounting. She was a member of the Lincoln Berean Church, the Cystic Fibrosis Board, Christian Women’s Club, Professional Secretaries International and Jr. League. She volunteered for many years at Lincoln General Hospital.
Family members include daughters, Elizabeth Price (Sam) Thompson and Sarah Price; sons, T. Michael (Liz) Price and Stacy (Emily) Markel; grandchildren Ethan (Zoe) Price, Sammy Thompson, Andrew Cahalan (Adrian Martinez), Daniel Cahalan, and Matthew Price; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Paula (Lee) Volkmer; half-brother Bob (Carla) Philipps; sister-in-law Sue Philipps; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded In death by her parents, stepfather James Philipps, stepfather David Otterman, son Shawn Markel, former spouse Thomas L. Markel, spouse Thomas M. Price, stepbrother Jim Phillips, and step nephew Christopher Phillips.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday January 24, 2025, at Roper and Sons South Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive in Lincoln.
Visitation to be held one hour prior to the service.
