Pam came from a family of 10. She fell in love with her husband Bruce at the age of 17 and married in 1966. They had three daughters who enriched their lives with many blessings. Pam lived for her family. She enjoyed many things. Pam crocheted baby blankets and doilies. In the early years, she sewed matching outfits for her and her daughters. She was your go to for hemming, mending and special projects. Pam’s love of traveling took her on many adventures. Including Ireland, Italy, Germany, and multiple cruises, most recently to Alaska. Pam was an avid Husker fan. She enjoyed everything from football, volleyball to baseball. Pam stayed active by attending water aerobics multiple times a week making new friends along the way.
Over the years, Pam worked in the eyecare industry making contact lenses and managing an optical office. She was most proud of the time she spent working as a film specialist for Advanced Medical Imaging.
Pamela is survived by her three daughters Cheryl (Jeff) Panko, Chris Branigan, Becky (Matt) Tikalsky, 7 grandchildren Christian (Crystal), Hannah (Álvaro), Lauren (Idwin), Mackenzie (Skyler), Spencer (Darian), Tyler (Shelbie), Kaitlyn, and 7 great grandchildren. Five siblings Sharon, Russ (Susan), Wes (Elaine), Dee (Pat), Joel (Kem) and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bruce, her parents, her brothers Danny and Errol and sisters Valerie and Sally, and brother-in-laws Richard and Nate, and sister-in-laws Dorothy and Arija.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Roper and Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516).
