Jean and family. Was saddened to learn of your mom’s passing. Many memories came flooding back to mind, when we were neighbors in Rosemont. I remember her love for chicken fried steaks, mashed potatoes and gravy. I always knew she would join us for dinner. ( avoiding another night eating by herself.) May your memories of your mom comfort you doing this time. I won’t be able to be with you on Monday as I live in Omaha and no longer driving. BUT I will be with you in my thoughts and prayers.

I have so many wonderful memories of spending time with grandpa and Norma. I loved going to their house when they lived in Imperial. She always had the best snacks that she hid from grandpa and would only share with us grandkids. The entire extended family would spend every Bowl Game the Huskers played in, at their house cheering, eating, & celebrating our Christmas too. One of my favorite places they took us was the VFW (I think that’s right) in Lincoln where they would order us Shirley Temples and dance with us on the dance floor. I also loved watching them dance. We also loved playing pitch them and laughing when she scolded grandpa for cheating. Charlie and Jean- thank you for sharing Norma with our family. She always had and will hold a special place in my heart. Kelly & Clint- Thank you for sharing your wonderful Nana with us. I always felt a connection with you guys because she would talk about you both so much. She was a wonderful mom/grandma to all of us. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this very difficult time.

– Lisa Lock-Davison (Lester’s oldest daughter)
