Nona H. Gardner, 98, of Lincoln, died Friday (8-29-08). Born May 18, 1910 in Bennet, Nebraska to George & Laura (Strahl) Holley. Worked at House of Bauer Candy Factory for 15 years retiring in 1965. Member of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church.
Family members include daughter, Pearl Fritts; daughter & son-in-law, Naoma & Dick Hilligoss, all of Lincoln. Grandchildren & Spouses, David & Connie Hilligoss, Darrin Hilligoss, all of Lincoln, Don & Lori Hilligoss of Olathe, KS. Great Grandchildren, Wade, Bradley, Jacob, Kara, & Mallory Hilligoss.
Preceded in death by parents; husbands, Clinton Gardner, Merwin Fritts, & Lee Martin; Son, Eugene; Sister, Viola.
Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Rev. Jeff Warrick, officiating.
Visitation Monday 4:00 – 9:00 PM with family greeting friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
