Nancy Hubbartt, 1933 – 2011, died Wednesday the 9th of March at NE Methodist Hospital in Live Oak, Texas. Nancy was a twenty year resident of Lincoln before moving to San Antonio in 2009. Nancy was born June 11, 1933 in Pittsfield Mass., the daughter of Cecil ‘Jim’ Backus and Isabel (Ruttan) Backus.
Her husband, Glenn D. Hubbartt Sr., to whom she was married for 54 years, died in 2008, and oldest son Glenn D. Hubbartt Jr. died in 2007. She leaves daughter: Susan Nelson, Omaha; sons, daughters-in-law: Steve and Julie Hubbartt, Berkshire England; Scott and Carolina Hubbartt, Schertz, Texas; sisters: Joan B. Coughlin, West Springfield Mass.; Kay Sue Hogan, Clifton Park N.Y.; and six grandchildren: Christina Lara, Nancy Schwab, Kathryn Hubbartt, Rachel Nelson, Michelle Nelson and Matthew Hubbartt.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m., Monday (3-28-11), Roper & Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln.
