Nancy came from a large family of 8 who remained close throughout the years through their faith, fellowship and love. Nancy married the love of her life, Harry Davis, on June 1st, 1965. They had a huge love for children, and unable to have her own, they adopted 3 children, Jim, Marlene and Traci to form a beautiful family. Nancy spent much of her life as a house wife raising their children and fostering several others throughout the years. After their children had grown, Nancy’s love for children continued and she spent time nannying a family of 7 children. She treasured her family and enjoyed watching them grow by giving her grandchildren and great grandchildren to love and spoil.
Survived by son, James (Rhonda) Davis, daughters Marlene Davis and Traci (Ryan) Swinton; grandchildren Matthew and Mark Davis, Evan Cook, Andrew Angele, Alayna Swartzbaugh, Breanna Buchanan, and Kristen Swinton.
Preceded in death by her husband Harry; parents; sisters Dorothy Voss, Shirley Lisius, Carolyn (Bob) Wheeler, Rosalie (Dean) Stutzman; brother James Nelson; and grandson Travis Angele.
A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday May 28, 2025, at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 O Street, Lincoln, NE.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday May 27, 2025, at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel.
