Michael J.”Mike” Hartshorn, 55, of Lincoln, died Wednesday (10-3-12). Born (1-8-57) in Lincoln, NE to Vern and Erma (Wismer) Hartshorn. Worked at Community Alternatives. Member of ARC Association. He loved birds and the outdoors. Mike was a friend to everyone.
Survived by his mother Erma; sister Linda (Dave) Hudson; brother Mark (Lori) Hartshorn; 5 nieces and nephews; 4 grandnieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father Vern.
Memorials Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday (10-5-12) at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ St.
Memorials to the ARC or Alzheimer’s Association.
Family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, funeral home.
