Michael H. Riggins, 69, Gresham, passed away March 8, 2017 in Lincoln. Born July 27, 1947 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Henry and Martha (Gillespie) Riggins. Ret. Restaurant Manager. Michael was a car club and sports enthusiast, especially Husker football.
Family members include his wife, Connie; sons, James Riggins, Gresham, Taylor Riggins, Grand Island; daughters, Julie Riggins (Robert Kridler), Portage, MI, Dawna Riggins, Kalamazoo, MI; grandchildren, Arielle, Falicia and Brandon; brother, Richard Riggins, Omaha; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents.
Funeral Service: 5:00 p.m. Saturday (3-11-17) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street with Rev. Marion Zook officiating.
Family requests everyone wear Husker red or GT-Shelby attire.
Memorials to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Bryan Heart Institute.
Family will greet friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Friday at Roper and Sons.
