Mary E. Miller, 83, Lincoln, widow of James A., died Monday (6-13-11). Born (3-17-28) in Arlington, Nebraska to Arthur and Lenora (Scheer) Laaker. Homemaker. Member of Faith Lutheran Church, a founding group member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, volunteer for the Nebraska State Historical Society and Birthright of Lincoln. She enjoyed traveling, panning for gold, fishing, rock hunting and her family.
Family members include: sons, daughters-in-law: Stephen A. Miller and Lauren Brandt, Bishop,CA, Greg A. and Marty Miller, Lincoln; grandchildren: Sam A. Miller, Portland, OR, Katie and husband Sean Davis, Rincon, GA, Hannah Miller and Shannon Miller, both of Lincoln; 4 great grandchildren; brother, sister-in-law: Roland and Charmaigne Laaker, Fremont. Preceded in death by parents and husband.
