Mary Clark, 72, of Lincoln and Tucson, AZ, passed away December 22, 2016. Born September 25, 1944 to Donald M. and Kathleen (Schmitt) Roberts in Harlan, IA. Mary founded Habitat kitchen and gift store in 1975 and was an active owner/manager until 2006. Her son and daughter in law continue to carry on the Habitat legacy. Despite her disability Mary very much enjoyed traveling, visiting people, nature, “baking” in the sun, and had an all-around passion for living life.
She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Kenneth H. Clark; son, John W. (Jana) Clark; granddaughter, Olivia Clark; step grandsons, Cole and Levi Ebbeka; brother, William M. (Joan) Roberts; sister, Carol Johnson (fiancé, Jim Milder). Preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held 11a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2017, at First Plymouth Congregational Church, 2000 ‘D’ St., with Rev. Dr. Jim Keck officiating.
