Member and past choir director at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church; Martha Circle; member of the Elder Bells at St. Marks; volunteer at Northeast Senior Center.
Family members include daughter, son-in-law: Pat and Chuck Kant, Lincoln; son, daughter-in-law: Paul and Mary McCorkle, Mobridge, SD; grandchildren, spouses: Nathan McCorkle, Brookings, SD, Krista McCorkle, Sioux Falls, SD, Robert and Veronica Kant, Oakland, NJ, Michele and Colin Strom, Omaha, Elizabeth and Brian Lewis, Alpharetta, GA; 7 great grandchildren: Danielle, Olivia and James Lewis, Brianna and Ashton Kant, Emma and Ethan Strom; sisters, brother-in-law: Betty Norby, Sioux Falls, SD; Carol and Roger Bombeck, St. Paul, MN; nieces, nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Arthur ‘Mac’, parents, 3 brothers, Raymond, Wilbur and Lester Oestreich, sister, Adeline.
