Marlene H. Baxter, 78, passed away at her home on November 1, 2016 in Lincoln surrounded by her family. Born November 19, 1937 to Charles and Delma Rose (Schultz) Trofholz in Richland, NE. Member of First United Methodist Church, and Steel Workers Local #286. Employed by Goodyear for 14 years.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years Darrel Baxter Sr.; children, Robert Williard Jr., William (Shelley) Williard, Pamela Trouba (Daniel Russell), Matthew Williard, Darrel Baxter Jr, Christina Baxter (Phil Judt); step children, Theresa (Shawn) Hubbell, Mark (Julie) Baxter, Rose Fox; brother, Terry (Debbie) Trofholz; 13 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; siblings, Charles Jr., Leon, Charlotte and Phyllis; grandchild, James; and great grandchild, Jensina.
Funeral service: 10 a.m. Monday (11-7-16) at First United Methodist Church, 2723 N 50th St., with Pastor Larry Moffet officiating.
Visitation: Sunday (11-6-16) 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 ‘O’ St. Burial at Fairview Cemetery.
