Mark was one of my closest friends growing up. We used to hang out all the time doing all kinds of things—fishing at Three Rivers, shooting hoops around his neighborhood, playing poker with friends, and of course, hitting the Putt Putt golf course for years. I lost touch with him for a long time, but, I feel pretty lucky to have had a friend like Mark—always caring, funny, and super easy to talk to about anything. Thinking of Candy and the rest of his family—my deepest condolences. The world would be a way better place if more people were like Mark.

Mark was unbelievably one of the nicest managers I have ever known in my 45+ years of working under someone!! His personality matched his unwavering humor no matter what the conditions were from Husker losses to hospital stays! We last visited him when he was being discharged from Madonna-he was so upbeat and the way he maneuvered his new ‘mobile’, you could tell he was ready to go home! We both shared the same birth date and will miss sharing red beers with him each March!! RIP Mark and you are going to be missed! Candy(s) so sorry for your loss and I pray memories will bring you comfort and peace! Jeanne

Mark had patience when I would get him out of bed. I could always tell if he was in pain. We would watch game shows and he would usually call out the answer before anyone else, lol. He had a great sense of humor, AND LOVED NEBRASKA!! Actually, he loved all sports, but his passion was the Huskers. He will be missed, but never forgotten!
