Marilyn R. Harvill

September 18, 1936 - September 11, 2025

Marilyn Rose Harvill, 88, of Lincoln Nebraska passed from this life peacefully at home on Thursday, September 11 2025. Marilyn was born on September 18, 1936, to Johney and Thelma (Fletchall) Barnett. She was raised in Skidmore, Missouri.

Marilyn married Bob Harvill on June 8, 1958, who preceded her in death in 2014. A graduate of Skidmore High School, Marilyn went on to become a wife, mother and homemaker. She also worked as a secretary and then worked for many years at Lincoln Regional Center as a medical transcriptionist. She enjoyed traveling, listening to Christian hymns or country music, watching westerns on TV and above all else, spending time with her family.

Marilyn is survived by her three children, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral service: 11:00 am Tuesday, September 16, 2025, Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ St. Burial in Wyuka Cemetery.

Visitation one hour prior to service.

Memorials to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
