Margaret Shirley “Peg” (Hewitt) Heber, 64, North Bend, NE, died peacefully at the home of her sister in Lincoln, surrounded by friends and family on Monday (12-13-10). Born (4-18-46) in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Philo L. and Mildred Delphine (Roberts) Hewitt. Peg had a lengthy career in the medical field. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, needle arts, theatre, movies and reading. Peg also played the piano, was an animal lover, international traveler and a Disneyland fanatic.
Family members include sisters, brothers-in-law: Kathleen and Randy Cantrell, Lincoln, Janice and John Noyd, Rogers, NE; brother, sister-in-law: Philo L. “Skip” Hewitt III and Andrea, Collingswood, NJ; nieces, nephews: Angela Janda-Craig and Brad Craig, Melinda Barnett, Amber and Andrew Beavers, Doren and Jessica Kolasa; grandnieces, grandnephews: Tyler Janda, Josey Janda and her children Emilee and MayLee, Hannah Janda, Paige and Jacob Barnett, Zachary John Beavers, Jaren and McKinley Kolasa.
Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Thursday (12-16-10) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Pastor Karen Clarke officiating.
