L. Palmer Johnson MD, 86, of Lincoln, passed away August 1, 2015. Born October 17th, 1928 in Valley, NE to Luther and Lucile (Palmer) Johnson. Luther was a member of St. Marks U.M.C., Victory Lodge #310 AF&AM Valley NE, 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason, American Legion, General Society of Mayflower Descendants and other genealogical societies, American College of OB-GYN, and a 50 year practitioner of the Nebraska Medical Association. Chief Medical Officer and board member of Lincoln General Hospital.
He is survived by wife Shirley, daughter Caryn (Adam) Zuhlke of Lincoln, grandchildren Emerald (Michael) Matheson, Chase, Chloe, Palmer C., all of Lincoln, great-grandson Wyatt, brother-in-law Norman (Joan) Hoevet of Hastings, Niece and Nephew Debra Cornelius, Mark Hoevet, Great niece and nephew Derek and Diedre Hoevet all of Hastings, Cousins. Preceded in death by parents, and daughter Cynthia.
