Luster Wayne Key, 77, of Lincoln, passed away August 16, 2015. Born November 14, 1937 in Chandler, Okla. to Luster Mervin and Grace Esther (Anderson) Key. Retired chief engineer for Boeing.
Family members include his wife, Anita; son, Greg (Sherri) Key, Lincoln; daughter, Julie Key, Bellevue, Wash.; grandchildren, Nathan Key, Omaha, Lindsay (Tahner) Pinkman and Allison Key, all of Lincoln; sister, Gayle (Eldon) Cox, Wichita, Kan.; sister-in-law, Sharon Key, Kansas City, Mo.; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and a brother, Ed Key.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at First Evangelical Free Church, 3300 S. 84th St. with Pastor Tom Schindler officiating. Burial, 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, in Henderson Cemetery, Searcy, Ark.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, to International Students Inc. or The Jesus Film, CRU (Campus Crusade). Visitation with family present from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Roper and Sons, 4300 O Street.
