Louis “Fred” Fredrick Steele, 67, Lincoln, passed away February 6, 2017. Born 9-2-49 in Abilene, KS to Louis Francis and Bernetta “Betty” (Winkelman) Steele. Retired after 45 years as an Engineer for General Dynamics. Member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. Fred enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
Family members include his wife, Norene; daughters, Stephanie (Bill) Kuhn, Malcolm, NE and Nicole (Paul) Spanel, Lincoln, NE; grandchildren, Darian Ogden, Nathan and Makayla Kuhn, and Channing Spanel; brother, Richard (Marsha) Steele, Wichita, KS; sisters, Betty Jo (Don) Hoadley, Burlingame, KS, Joyce (Allen) Lindholm, Salina, KS, and Sally (Mike) Koelling, St. Marys, KS. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Roger Steele.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday (2-9-17) St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 1015 Lancaster Lane with Pastor Kimberlee Osborn officiating. 2:00 p.m. burial in Park Hill Cemetery, Syracuse, NE.

Visitation with family present will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
