LouAnn was so highly respected by her peers and loved deeply as a coworker and friend.”

Carisa Carr, associate director of education, added: “I am struck by the loss in our educational field of someone who faithfully served and poured out her heart for educators. LouAnn loved the Union, worked tirelessly to develop resources for the field, and carried a joy that was infectious to all around her. She deeply believed in growing leaders, and her influence will be felt for generations.”

LuAnn had an infectious laugh, a heart for students, and a good word for her peers. She always brought life to meetings with her thoughtful insights, and HISTORY! Wow, she could pull up things that we needed for background information almost every time. She will be greatly missed as a colleague, leader, and friend. The Best is Yet to Come!
