Lois J. Koop, 87, Lincoln, went to her heavenly home on August 2, 2015 after a 3 year battle with colon cancer. She was born December 24, 1927 to William C. and Rose (Doerr) Deitemeyer of Lincoln, NE.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Wayne; daughter, Connie (James) Fertig; son, Kenneth (Sally) Koop, Decorah, IA grandchildren, Jaime (Kory) Rash, KC, MO, Camie (Kris) DelBarba, Carol Stream, IL, Ashley (Zachary) Bader, Carlisle, IA, Malachi Koop, Lincoln, NE, and Hannah Koop, Decorah, IA; 4 great-grandchildren, Makayla and Hailey Dove, Carol Stream, IL and Rowyn and Caius Bader, Carlisle, iA; sister, Rosemarie (James) Janke, New Braunfels, TX as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Carl, Harold, Gilbert, Bill and sister, Trudy Gevers.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday (8-6-15) Christ Lutheran Church, 4325 Sumner St. with Rev. Dr. Luke Schnake officiating.
