Lloyd A. Hild, 93, of Lincoln, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 in Grand Island, NE. Born August 30, 1918 in Scotia, Nebraska to Jacob Herman and Margaret Jane (Jones) Hild. Ret. U.S. Air Force Sr. Master Sergeant after 31 years of service. Served in WWII Iwo Jima, Korean Conflict and Vietnam Wars. Member of American Legion Post #3, V.F.W., D.A.V. , Air Force Sergeants Association and Audubon Society.
Family members include his wife, Mary Hilda; sons, Lyle W. Hild, Grapevine, TX, Glen J. and wife Susan Hild, Charleston, IL; 3 grandchildren, Alex Lugo, Kjersten and Marlene Hild. Preceded in death by parents, daughter Janis Hild, brothers Robert and Jake.
Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 in Fairview Cemetery, south of Cozad, NE.
