Linda R. Fischer, 81, of Lincoln, passed away March 5, 2025. Born on August 12, 1943 in Cook, NE to Arnold and Mardell (Fisher) Albers. She worked at Farmland Industries and Lincoln Children Zoo. She was also involved in the Sun Rise Kiwanis and Special Olympics. Linda married Richard Fischer on December 7, 1968. Together they raised a blended family of 5 children, Gina (Ron) Fischer-Deckard, Lisa Fischer-Bray, Scott (Jody) Fischer, Michael (Gina) Duncan and Larry (Kim) Duncan.

Survivors include 5 children, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 sister and 1 aunt. Preceded in death by Husband and Parents.

Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 17, 2025 at Holy Savior Lutheran Church 4710 N 10th Street with Pastor James Irwin Officiating.

I knew Linda from Sunrise Kiwanis. She was a very nice person & a great volunteer for our projects & a friend. I hadn’t seen her for a while, but I’ll always remember her for her kindness & her friendship. RIP sweet Linda.♥️
