Obituary

Linda K. Glenn

May 3, 1954 - October 26, 2013

Linda K. Glenn, died October 26, 2013. Born May 3, 1954 in Wichita, KS. Graduated Lincoln High School Class of 1972, graduated UNMC with a BSN in Nursing in 1997. Linda, life-long Lincoln resident, was a very caring, loving unselfish person, an angel among us. Linda lived her life to the fullest, loved unconditionally, always looking for ways to make another person’s life better, whether working at St. Elizabeth, running a day care, or helping a neighbor or friend; she put other people’s needs first.
Linda always loved hosting events that were usually filled with lively conversation, good food and last but not least of all dancing. A shining star in our lives that will be missed. Married to James (Jim) Glenn in 1980, she was the mother of four children, all of whom were lucky to have their lives filled with her unconditional love.

Survived by husband, Jim; sons, J T (Annie) Glenn and Jesse (Melissa) Glenn; daughters, Cassidy Glenn and Audrey Glenn; mother, Florine Mills; and sister, Melissa Mills. Grandchildren, the absolute joys of her life: Trey, Carter, Logan, Michael, Alayna, Adrian, Mea and Destiny, all of Lincoln; relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Preceded in death by grandparents, Ben and Elise Gadeken, in-laws, Presley and Dorothy Glenn, sister-in-law, Mary Kennedy, brother-in-law, Michael Glenn.

Cremation/no visitation.

Memorial Service: Christ Lutheran Church, 4325 Sumner, Wednesday, October 30, 3 p.m. Life celebration afterward at the Glenn residence. All are welcome. Linda requests that everyone wear bright colors.

Memorials to American Cancer Society or family for grandchildren’s education fund.
