Lester served in the U S Army. He was a truck driver for many years.
Family members include his wife, Mary; sons Christopher Amory (Dawn), Stephen Amory (LaRae), and Aaron Amory, all of Lincoln; grandchildren Carter, Reece, and Tye Amory, Kaleb, Ethan, and Tristan Poulsen; siblings Noel Amory (Twindle), Hattie Dovich (Gerald), Harold, Herbert, and Kenny Amory; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Sue Giddens.
