LeRoy A. “Bud” Olson, 92, of Lincoln, passed away December 22, 2015. Born July 22, 1923 in Grand Forks, ND to Alfred and Evelyn (McDonald) Olson. WWII U. S. Navy Veteran. Ret. Grocery Manager, National Food Co. Member of Lincoln East Rotary Club.
Leroy was a loving father, grandfather, devoted friend, dedicated professional, and honorable man. He stood by his family, friends, and colleagues through good and bad. He made a difference in all our lives and made our world a better place. We will all miss him terribly.
Grateful for sharing his life are daughters, Cindy (Mike) Knezovich and Nancy Roszak,Marco Island, Florida; son, Skeeter. Legacy of family and love will continue in his grandchildren, Bryce (Susie), Derek, Butch (Brittany), Annie (Larry) and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Ava, Mya, Hunter, Thor Michael; many nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters-in-law. Preceded in death by wife, Elaine, sister, Shirley, brother, Keith and parents.
Visitation will be on Sunday (12-27-15) at Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Funeral Service and burial will be in Hibbing, MN.
