Leontine M. “Lonni” Barney, 69, died on March 5, 2018. Born in Omaha, NE on January 24, 1949 to Donald J. and Irene E. (Klacsan) Betts. Member of First Plymouth Congregational Church, PEO, taught Sunday School at Westminster Presbyterian and Holy Trinity Episcopal Churches, loved spending time with family and friends at Ten Mile Lake in Minnesota.
She is survived by husband, Robert; son & daughter-in-law, Adam (Teresa) Barney, Lincoln; daughter, Lisa McCallan, Omaha; father, Donald Betts, Lincoln; sisters, Sandra (Steve) Werthmann, Lincoln, Katherine Betts, Lincoln, Barbara Peters, Omaha; 4 grandchildren, Avery, Isaac, Mason and Claire; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial Service: 11:00 am Friday, March 9th at First Plymouth Congregational Church, 2000 D Street
