Lawrence A. “Larry” Hermann, 88, of Lincoln, died Saturday (5-4-13). Born (1-10-25) in Menomonie, WI to Louis and Elsie L. (Schneider) Hermann. Retired Barber and former owner of Cotner Barbership (1966 – 1988). Member of Rosemont Alliance Church, Minneapolis-Moline Collectors, Eagle Scout, Camp Creek Thrashers and UNL Lester Larson Tractor Test Museum.
Family members include his son, Steven L. (Patricia) Hermann, Lincoln; daughter, Marilyn A. (Alvin) Stenzel, Denton, TX; grandchildren, Jeremy (Samantha) Hermann, Lincoln, Shelley Hermann, Xenia, OH, Trevor Hermann, Lincoln, Lucas (Tyler)Stenzel, Pearland, TX, Jared Stenzel, Denton, TX; great granddaughter, Remy Noelle Hermann, Lincoln; sister, Charlotte (Ray) Stevens, Morgan Hill, CA; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, M. Joanne Hermann; parents; brother, Quinn Hermann; sister, Sally DeLong; sister-in-law, Berdine Hermann; brothers-in-law, Max and Richard Gifford.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Saturday (5-11-13) Rosemont Alliance Church, 2600 North 70th Street with Pastor Tim Majorins officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.
