Larry L. Carr, age 73, was born in Red Oak, Iowa on September 16, 1951 to Walter P. Carr and Virginia K. (Spetman) Carr. He passed away on March 27, 2025.

Larry was a manufacturing representative until his retirement. Larry is survived by his wife Deborah Carr and children, Michelle Carr (Eric Haszard) of Phoenix, AZ. David Carr (Dominique) of Cedar Rapids, IA. Jared Carr (Jessica) of Lincoln, NE, four grandchildren Eliza and Mabel Behrens, Waylen and Rylee Carr, and sister Shirley Schielke (LaVern) of Lincoln, NE. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Virginia Carr.

A celebration of Larry’s life is to be held on Friday April 4^th at 11:00am at Roper and Sons South Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr.

Larry was truly the brother I never had. As first cousins, we were very close our whole lives. I will never spend another New Year’s Eve without thinking about Larry and Deb and the fun times we used to have together before I lost my husband. Larry was always there when I needed him and I will miss him so very much. Heaven has gained another good one!
