Ladona J. “Dona” Steward, 83, of Panama, passed away May 2, 2017. Born April 27, 1934 in Delphos, KS to Charles and Dorothea (Custer) Vandegrift. She was a loving mother who enjoyed time with family and friends.
Family members include her children; son Kenny Steward and special friend Suzette Brotton, Hickman, NE; daughter Deb (Rick) Cashen Las Vegas, NV; son Dave (Janis) Steward of Lincoln; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Janice and brother Allen; special friends, Dick and Fran Lewis and sister-in-law Sharon who were there for Dona towards the end of her journey. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, daughter Barbra, and brothers Ray and Frank.
Burial at 9:30AM Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Panama Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at 10:30AM Saturday June 10th at the Panama Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Darin Bentzinger officiating.
Memorials are suggested to the Panama Presbyterian Church Building Fund
No visitation/cremation.
