Kyle served in the U. S. Air Force and the National Guard.
Family members include his wife, Kim; daughter Brooke Bassinger (Darnell Gill); sons Mike (Cara) Bassinger and Cole (Liz) Bassinger, all of Lincoln; Robert (Shelly) Bassinger, Salida, CO; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren;; siblings T.D. Bassinger, Maelynn Bassinger, Niccole (Paul) Lux, and Wendelin (John) Miller; brother-in-law Roger Tritsch; sisters-in-law Cindy Bassinger and Christie Bassinger; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents, son Destrey, daughter April, brothers Scott, Rex and Eric, sisters Dawn Kerry, Twyla Tritsch, Susan Rinne (Gerald), and Paulette Bassinger.
Funeral service: 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2025 at Mercy City Church, 6224 Logan Ave., Lincoln, NE. Burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Waverly, NE.
Visitation with family present from 5-7 pm Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel, 10841 North 148th Street.
