Kial Ryan Johnson, 34, of Lincoln passed away July 20, 2021. Born December 1, 1986, in Lincoln, NE to Bruce and Suzanne (Hatcher) Johnson. Kial was a member of the Plaza Adult Day Center for 10 years. He attended special ed Sunday school at Lincoln Berean Church. Kial enjoyed the company and care of family, friends, and numerous care takers over the years. He would greet you with a rise in his eyebrows, a smile and by patting his chest. And if you were lucky, he would respond by saying “Well Hi”. Kial’s absolute favorite toy was his 1980’s Fisher Price wind up radio that played Over the Rainbow.
Family members include his Mother, Suzie Johnson; special friends Marianne Wegulo and Pam Freudenburg;Grandfather Stan Hatcher; Uncle Jeff (Jody) Hatcher;Cousins, Amy (Ben) Taylor, Mason and Hudson, Benjamin (Robyn) Hatcher, Joseph, Logan and Ella, Ethan (Christina) Hatcher and Helena, Aaron Hatcher, Evan (Alyssa) Hatcher, Andrew Hatcher; Father Bruce Johnson; Grandmother Evelyn Johnson ; Uncles Brian (Shelly) Johnson, Arlan (Meghan) Johnson, Aunts Karen (Terry) Williams, and Linda Johnson Byorth Detrio; Cousins, Bryce Johnson, Veranda Johnson, Cameron Johnson, Van Williams, Andrew (Jessica) Byorth, Matthew and Hadley, Sarah (Nick) Holten, Elin and Amelia, and Emily (Kris) Ricamore, Everly, Lillian, and Natalie. Preceded in death by his sister Stephanie Ray Johnson, Grandmother Shirley Hatcher and Grandfather Dayle Johnson.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday (7-24-21) Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
Visitation from 5-7 pm Friday at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel.
