Kenneth G. “Ken” Stickney, 82, of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012. Born June 19, 1930 in Ashland, Nebraska to Guy Wallace and Norma Mae (Harmon) Stickney. 1948 Waverly High School graduate. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953 stationed in Japan. He married his sweetheart Cloydett J. Young on February 10, 1951 in Lincoln. Ken farmed, started a feed business, worked and retired from NC+ Hybrids, worked in Continuing Education at Southeast Community College, raised and showed dogs and was an avid horse lover. Attended Indian Hills Community Church.
Family members include his wife, Cloydett; sons; Bill (Terre) Stickney, Eagle, NE, Bob Stickney, Waverly, NE, Tom (Delana) Stickney, Lincoln, NE; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; sisters: Norma (Kenneth) Polenz, Waverly, NE, Irma (Jack) Walter, Lincoln, NE. Preceded in death by parents.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Pastor Kerry O’Bryant officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday with family greeting friends Tuesday, July 3 from 6:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. funeral home.
