Kyle, Randy and I are so sorry to hear about your dad. He was a kind, friendly man in the opportunities we got to be with him and you “boys” and at football games. Not that long ago I would see him at Prairie life, knew he was struggling but he was a trooper, doing what he could. I’m sure his legacy will live on in your family. Reaching out with warm thoughts. Randy and Robin Spangler

Daylene, Steph, & Kyle: So sorry to hear that Karl has passed away. Our most sincere condolences go out to you and your families. My memories of Karl include our many hours spent at swim meets and the after parties, my hunting trip to SW Nebraska and the subsequent buck shot Karl took from the younger generation on that trip. Enjoyed Karl’s wit and humor. He will be missed.

Karl was a member of our unofficial noon running group at the NE YMCA in the 90s. He always had joke or thoughtful insight to share with the group during the run making me always look forward to our next run.

Please accept my sincerest condolences as you celebrate Karl’s life. I had the privilege of working with Karl in a professional capacity for several Trust(s) that owned life insurance. Karl was always well informed and knew the many nuisances of the insurance industry. Most important, it was clear from the stories he shared that his family was his greatest treasure.

Always enjoyed seeing Karl at Taiyos sporting events or working out at PLC. He kept in pretty good shape for a man of his age. Always friendly and asked about my son DJ (who played sports with taiyo growing up). My condolences to the entire family, such a great guy and I’m sure a fabulous dad, grandpa, and husband. May grace of God be with you all during this difficult time.
