Judy Jones

Judy Jones passed away on May 24^th, surrounded by her daughter and granddaughter.

Judy was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 24, 1954.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester, parents, Erwin and Patsy Bahr, and brother, Martin Land. She is survived by her daughter, Allison; granddaughter, Victoria; great-grand-sons Travion, Jayden, Elijah, and Omari; and her brother, Erwin Jr..

Judy will be remembered for her vibrant personality, creative mind, and the love she poured into her family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2025 at Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 N. 27th Street, Lincoln, NE.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the Funeral Service.

Interment to follow at Wyuka Cemetery.

I can tell you I didn’t know your mom. But we did communicate on Facebook. I had asked her if she’s home yet. And she said not yet, but she was gonna be coming home soon. She went to her final home. I wish I could have a chance to know her in person.

I moved in next door to Judy in “2022” in Sequim WA. We were instant friends. Her door was always open for a chat and some laughs. She was always working on her next diamond art. I well miss my friend always. RIP Judy
