Joyce Carole (Bonneau) Daberkow, 77, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Lincoln, NE. She was born in Oakland, NE on December 25, 1943 to Russell & Ruth (Epperson) Bonneau. Joyce graduated from Rosalie High School in 1962 and she married Delwyn Ernst Daberkow at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rosalie, NE on November 10, 1963. She was a compassionate person who loved her family, always making time to spend with her children and especially her grandchildren. Over her lifetime she had an in-home daycare, worked at the first Pizza Ranch in Laurel, NE and even operated the Rejoice Corner Café for a few years also in Laurel, NE. Joyce retired to Lincoln, NE in 2011 to be closer to her three youngest grandchildren. She was a member of the LWML at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Lincoln, NE and her favorite hobbies were collecting butterflies, reading books and baking.

She is survived by husband, Delwyn; children Patricia (Michael) Sherman of Belden, NE, Tina Daberkow of Lincoln, NE, Kelly Daberkow of West Point, NE, and Lacey (Jacob) Gabig of Lincoln, NE; grandchildren Tyler Sherman of Red Cloud, NE, Dalyce (Stephen) Eastman of Mililani, HI, Audrey Daberkow of West Point, NE attending Chadron State College, Nickolas Daberkow of West Point, NE and Kyle, Logan & Holden Gabig all of Lincoln, NE; greatgrandchildren Daniel & Rosalie Eastman of Mililani, HI; Siblings Ruthann Bargmann of Bancroft, NE, Leroy Bonneau of Lincoln, NE, Paula (Ronald) Blank of Inwood, IA, Karen Bonneau of Omaha, NE, Shirley Bonneau of Omaha, NE and sister-in-law Carolyn Bonneau of Bancroft, NE. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Kyle, brothers Robert & Paul, sister Grace, brother-in-law Derald “PeeWee” Bargmann and sister-in-law Carol (Slaughter) Bonneau.

Visitation on Wednesday (11/3/21) from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln, NE 68510.

Funeral Service: 10 A.M., Thursday (11/4/21) at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2001 S 11^th St Lincoln, NE 68502.

Interment: 3 P.M. at Laurel Cemetery on Highway 20, right outside of Laurel, NE.
